About Me

Mission GT: Hi, I’m Grace and I’m looking to do a Discipleship Training School (DTS) mission with the organization Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in South Africa between July – December 2010. I grew up in Sutton Coldfield with my family and attended SCBC from 1992 and spent 5 years at Solent Community Church after university in Portsmouth. 16 months ago during a Christmas service with Graham and Linda Wells (Operation Mobilisation USA missionaries from SCBC), I felt God called me to missions and to use my gift of dance to share his love with the most vulnerable and hurting in this world. The base I am going to with YWAM have been working to unify the town by helping teach English, Maths & I.T. to the adults of the Township of Pellsrus and run Kids Clubs for the local children who have very little. I hope to do the above as well as some mentoring and training in Creative Arts (dance in particular). This will be for the first 3 months whilst getting biblical training and then for the second 3 months, I will be doing outreach to somewhere in Southern Africa, Brazil or Holland.
